Wrightsville Beach Office.

When I was growing up in Greensboro, the best time of the year (other than Christmas), was the day when my parents packed the family Dodge with suitcases, linens, toys, my sisters and me, in that order, for what seemed like a never ending drive to “the Beach”. Not the coloring books, nor the cow poker or I-spy could distract us from repeatedly asking my father “How many more miles to the BEACH?”

Those were the unforgettable days of summer filled with memories of building sand castles, collecting shells, surfing the waves and fishing from the pier. In spite of sunburns, jelly fish, and splinters from the boardwalk … those were happy days. 

I’ve come to the conclusion that you can’t be at “the BEACH” and be unhappy. Whenever I drive across the drawbridge onto Wrightsville Beach, I think to myself, “What a glorious place to begin each day”.

Prudential opened the original beach office in 1984 across the street in the Landing. In 2005, we saw an opportunity to gain more visibility by completely renovating a vacant office building at the corner of Causeway and Canal. With the Town’s 1 ½ mile walking trail called The Loop, just a few feet from our front door, we welcome visitors who want to learn more about real estate in the area.

No wonder over half of our agents were recognized by Prudential at the national level for their outstanding production and service, and our office received the Cornerstone Award for operational excellence in 2006.

Bob Jamieson has been the Broker-in-charge of the Wrightsville Beach Office since 2004. He was previously a major producer with Harbour Town Associates, Prudential Carolina Real Estate and Intracoastal Realty. In 2003 he served as President of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors and in 2004 was selected as the Association’s Realtor of the Year. In 2006, Bob earned the National Association of Realtors highest credential awarded to brokers and managers recognizing his professional accomplishments in both education and experience, the distinguished CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) designation . He is a graduate of Duke University and attended the school of architecture at NC State University and the University of Colorado.
